The Spa Director is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of The Woodhouse Spa while ensuring guests receive the highest level of customer service by upholding the highest standards of hospitality.
Manage the Spa's annual budget, revenue forecasting and financial reporting.
Work with Leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive guest engagement, increase bookings, and maximize revenue.
Responsible that all spa services are being performed according to protocol and that our high standards of cleanliness, sanitation and order are being met.
This person will be responsible for hiring and training staff at all positions, creating a supportive environment, coaching employees to meet and exceed hospitality, performance and sales goals, maintaining the daily schedule, accurately preparing payroll and other financial reports, performing administrative duties and completing management reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Leadership/Management in Hospitality Industry
- Meevo POS Preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Natural problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
Responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day operations of facility and personnel
- Recruit, interview and hire qualified personnel based on anticipated needs
- Understand our Meevo software systems / analyze overall performance
- Maintain and ensure licensing
- Resolve guest and employee issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain company visual presentation standards with facility and staff
- Prepare payroll and submit to Operations Manager
- Communicate with Operations Manager and providing input to continually improve business
- Strong skill set in schedule of staff, anticipate busy days and weekends.
Position requirements:
- Experience in Management in a spa/salon, beauty or service/retail environment
- Ability to work independently
- Proven decision-making skills
- Strong Leadership skills and Team Player with strong supervisory skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional administrative skills
- Proven experience in spa management or hospitality leadership role with a track record of success driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction
- Time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
